The greenhouse is now de-cluttered of winter storage junk, swept clean and ready to be filled with veggie seedling trays. My wonderful husband even built some great tables to help with the expansion of plants this season. In March, onion, leeks, and scallions get started first. So now I am spending a silly amount of time looking at soil trays waiting for baby seedlings to pop up.
The names of some of the varieties growing right now are Cortland, Redwing, Walla Walla, Cipollini onions; Prisma Shallots, King Richard, Tadorna, Bandit leeks; Parade, and Red Baron Scallions.
