A childhood friend of mine recently wrote a piece about her experiences on an organic farm.  I thought you would enjoying reading it as well.  I too remember collecting warm eggs from her chicken coop and her dog Freckles.  You can read it Here.

If you are looking for something to do this Saturday, NOFA will be holding it's Winter Conference right here in Exeter at the Exeter High School.  There will be workshops, films, Vendors and a food market.  There will also be "workshops" for kids!  The workshops are great this year. They range in all levels from farmer to hobby gardener.
